The Genealogy and DNA Interest Group (GIG)
Meets 4th Wednesday each Month from 2 pm to 4 pm.
We study:
- Family History and Family Trees,
- Genealogy software and web sites,
- How to go about starting your own family history,
- How to do research on line and use web resources and where to store your own family details.
- Tools to use for research and how to use DNA and how it helps with Genealogy.
- How to understand your DNA test results. Different types of DNA tests and what they tell you.
In the Group we help and support each other with problems or road blocks on our trees. We can learn new ways and ideas from each other.
