This is not a course, but an Interest Group for those who have taken a DNA test for Genealogical purposes with FamilyTreeDNA (or possibly with Ancestry or MyHeritage) and are feeling lost with understanding what their results are showing.

There is nothing medical or forensic involved – DNA testing for genealogy is simply an aid (or a tool if you prefer) to learn more about who you are and who your family is. But you do need to know what you want to get out of such a test in order to get the right person to take the right test.
